I had a delivery I was expecting. I received a notice from USPS stating it was out for delivery at 8:34 AM to be delivered by 8:00 PM that day. At 6:24 PM I received an email from USPS that a delivery attempt had been made but the customer was not home or the business was closed and a notice was left. I was home, no delivery attempt was ever made and no notice was left. I looked up the original tracking number in my emails and the package was send via FedEx and handed off to the post office. FedEx had the same information, obviously they were getting it from USPS. The FedEx website said to contact the post office. I drove to the post office and waited forever for a supervisor. When he came he took my tracking number and went to check on the package. When he returned he stated that the package was out for delivery and would be delivered in about 15 minutes. I was a little upset and asked why I was notified that the package had been attempted to be delivered when it clearly was not. He said the letter carrier mixed the package up the day before with incoming packages and that it was returned but the letter carrier never realized it until he returned to the center. So, the end results were the letter carrier lied to me and to FedEx by stating that an attempt was made to deliver the package. Because of this lie I spent an hour tracking down the package only to have the package delivered anyway, albeit a day later than they said. I think there are two issues with this post office. One is they are severely understaffed, and the other is most of the staff that is there could care less about customer service. I would not lump them all in, but certainly a larger portion of them have no clue how to properly serve the public. I have lived in many places in the US and I can state emphatically that this is the worse postal center I have ever dealt with, bar none.
pretty much the worst delivery service. "notice left" delivery was attempted at 7:00pm to my business that closes at 5pm. no notice on my mail box. no notice on the door. unable to call them as the phone line is perpetually busy. i wonder why the phone line is busy, it couldnt be from the overwhelming amounts of complaints could it?! its been 1week still have not received my mail. changes in this office need to be made, but they more than likely wont be made. i try to avoid using usps as much as humanly possible.
Package got sent back due to address change. They can't find it. Took my number said we will call you when we find it. Three days later and no call. Back again they ask for my number I told them no I did that three days ago, find my package. Two hours later I get told sorry we can't find it. We don't know what happened to it. This is just ridiculous
The supervisor was so wonderful to my husband and to myself! She was caring and very understanding! Not sure what he name was but she had blonde shorter hair. We was having a issue and went to her for help, and she went above and beyond to help us and she didn't even know us! She was such an amazing women and wish the world was filled with more people like her!!! Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, our experience was amazing! And we do not work at the post office!!!
I would give them 0 stars if I could. They have not been delivering mail and putting the wrong mail in my lockbox. I waited in line 45 minutes on a Saturday (the only time I can get there given they work government hours) to get this resolved and they said "all we can do is notify the carrier". Thanks for wasting my time! Now they changed the lock on my box and did not notify me! Unbelievably terrid. These people just do not care. I've had to tell my friends and family to not send me mail because I probably won't get it.
