Love the store, but their new delivery service is a real rip off. Says it's $14.95 a month for unlimited deliveries. But then they charge you a 'service fee' in the fine print. Also in the fine print is the recommendation to tip your driver 10 to 20%. While I love our local Publix, if this is the best they can do..they deserve to be eaten by Amazon.
I love Publix, I really really do. But this location... I don't think I'll ever step foot in this door again. I had a grown woman, an employee, make fun of my little boy who is barely 4 and autistic. I cannot tell you how broken hearted I was over the situation, and my son cried for hours over it. Management was very apologetic, and I really appreciate their efforts to resolve the matter. Because of this I said I would give the store another chance before sharing my experience. Tonight, I went in to buy a few items, and again had a terribly negative experience with this same employee who I tried my best to avoid. She went out of her way to get to me, after shaming me and my family just days before. So be warned. If you have a child with you avoid this location or you might be faced with a grown woman calling your child names.
Alway the best of everything in public's. Plus your help in the store are the greatest.. Thank you for all the years. Nancy Mclellan.
Edit: That didn't take long. In a block buster transaction Amazon purchased whole foods today. Every CEO of every Grocery store better take notice of this and do something better than outsourcing their delivery service to a company with 1 star reviews.
